Certificates of Compliance Required by CPSC
Federal regulations require all products used by consumers to undergo various tests to ensure their safety, and durability. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is the body that establishes the required standards that product manufacturers must meet. L.A. Baby passes the requirements set forth by CPSC, in addition L.A. Baby’s Current Line up is compliant with current ASTM Standards.
Following are PDF files of the Certificates of Conformity that are generated after our products have been tested to comply with ASTM, CPSC, and in the case of our compact cribs JPMA.
NOTE: Your crib must be made on or after the date that is specified under “Date of Manufacture” in order to be compliant to the standards that are listed on the certificate of conformity. If your crib is not compliant, and you are a day care provider, you have until December 28, 2012 to replace the non-compliant cribs.

Play Yard
There is currently no mandatory standard for play yards, but our commitment to safety requires us to make sure that our products are tested to ensure your peace of mind. We have tested our model 87 play yard to comply with the voluntary ASTM standards which are very stringent.
